Samuil Georgiev
Originally from Bulgaria and now based in St Ives, Cambridgeshire, UK.
I recently graduated from the University of Leeds with an MEng and BSc in Computer Science, focusing on high-performance graphics and games engineering. For my dissertation, I developed a machine learning pipeline for CRISM hyperspectral data to map the surface composition of Mars.
For my master's final project, my team and I engineered Steer Engine, a performance-focused 3D game engine built with C++ and Vulkan. We architected a scalable data-driven loop using Flecs ECS and integrated Jolt Physics for deterministic vehicle dynamics.
I am currently working as a DevOps Intern at ApplauseLab, where I build automated CI/CD pipelines and manage the Android deployment infrastructure for the xheal.ai application.
I consider myself a graphics programmer at heart and enjoy building highly performant, complex software.
